A personal blog about musical theater, life, and whatever else is on my mind. I play guitar and bass in orchestra pits, and occasionally you'll find me on stage too.
From the pit, the stage, and everything in between.
Musician, nerd, father, husband.
I made my theatrical debut as Roger in Muni's 2013 production of RENT. Favorite roles since then have included Stacee Jaxx in STC's Rock of Ages, Edgar the Bat Boy in STC's Bat Boy the Musical, Riff Raff in ADHD's The Rocky Horror Show, Jim in HCFTA's Pump Boys and Dinettes, Mr. Wormwood in Muni's Matilda the Musical, Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet at HCFTA, and Svec in HFTA's Once.
As far as orchestra work my first performance was playing guitar for Jesus Christ Superstar in 2015. Since then I've played guitar for School of Rock, Jersey Boys, Next to Normal, and The Prom. I've played bass for Fun Home, The Rocky Horror Show, and RENT.
All my love — Kristi, Cam, and Calvin.
This is where I write about everything — show recaps, pit experiences, gear, life, and whatever else is on my mind.
